Announcing a new UKRI-funded research project at Ulster University
December 9, 2024New research project at Ulster University exploring the impact of arts, culture and heritage sectors in Northern Ireland
Accelerating Culture & Enhancing Strategy (ACES) is a UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Impact Accelerator funded project making the connection between Ulster University research and culture, arts and heritage planning in Northern Ireland.
Led by Professor Elizabeth Crooke (Heritage and Museum Studies) and Dr Lisa Fitzpatrick (Senior Lecturer Drama) with Dr Stephanie Harper (Research Associate), the project is focusing on how Ulster research advocates for the arts, heritage and museum sectors and can impact their work. We are using Ulster research to demonstrate how the sectors benefit our wellbeing; can enhance equality, diversity and inclusion; and, can foster skills and boost the economy.
If you work in arts, culture, heritage or museums, we would like to speak to you.
- Tell us how best the university sector can advocate for your work and inform your practice; and,
- What can university-based researchers do to enhance the sustainability, impact and relevance of your sector?
Please get in touch with Principal Investigator Elizabeth Crooke em.crooke@ulster.ac.uk or her colleagues Lisa Fitzpatrick l.fitzpatrick@ulster.ac.uk and Stephanie Harper s.harper2@ulster.ac.uk
If possible, please send your responses before the 13th January 2025. Late responses will be accepted.
