Sarah Briggs – Museums Association
Sarah Briggs from the Museums Association will share details of the newly launched Esmée Fairbairn Communities and Collections Fund that supports museums and their community partners for inclusive collections and participation work.
Joe Jefford – Art Fund (Jonathan Ruffer Curatorial Grants)
joe Jefford will share details of the Jonathan Ruffer Curatorial Grants programme, which supports UK curators, museum professionals and researchers to undertake travel and other activities that will extend and develop their curatorial expertise, collections-based knowledge and art historical interests.
Dr Emma Hannah – The National Lottery Heritage Fund
Join Dr Emma Hannah to find out more about The National Lottery Heritage Fund’s grant programme and application process under their new 10-year strategy, Heritage 2033. Delivered by the Northern Ireland Engagement team, this talk will cover:
- What heritage is and the Heritage Fund’s definition of heritage
- The types of organisations and activities that can be funded
- National Lottery Heritage Grants overview
- What makes a fundable heritage project
- The four investment principles which guide all funding decisions
There will also time for a Q&A. We hope you’ll come way feeling confident about planning and undertaking a heritage project and know the next steps your organisation or group can take to apply.
