Join us for an Out of this World afternoon of FREE family-friendly space-themed activities as we mark 50 years since the first moon landing. Delivered in partnership with Science Starz, why not build a moon buggy (with Lego), try out an astronaut glovebox, find out about what astronauts eat in space, or make and launch your own rocket? Visitors will also be able to view a temporary exhibition on the moon landing and astronomy in the subsequent decade, part of a larger exhibition - 'Above and Beyond: Making sense of the Universe for 100 Years' - showcasing, around 5 venues within Armagh, the most significant breakthroughs that have shaped science, technology and culture during the last century. Pre-booking is not required - just turn up and enjoy the drop-in activities.

There will be lots of other events and activities within Armagh City on the same day, for instance, at the Planetarium, as well as a giant 'Museum of the Moon' on the Mall.

Cost: Free (Funded by the Royal Society)
