The First Crossing – the Royal Flying Corps in Ireland 1913 (With Guy Warner)

The Royal Flying Corps (RFC) was the air arm of the British Army before and during the First World War, until it merged with the Royal Naval Air Service in 1918 to form the Royal Air Force. This lecture will concentrate on the visit of the number 2 squadron Royal Flying Corps to Ireland and the first overseas flight in August 1914.
