Key Stage Two Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum
This programme is centred in talks and demonstrations, together with the handling of WWII objects and completing structured tasks and challenges. Participants explore the themes of rationing, evacuation and living in a blackout. Sessions are for groups of 20, with larger groups divided, and last between 45 and 60 minutes.
The NI Curriculum areas of learning are: Language and literacy, The arts, The world around us, Personal development and mutual understanding.
The Skills and Communications used include: Cross curricular skills, Thinking skills and personal capabilities, Communication & Maths.
