Key Stage Two Mid-Antrim Museum

This interactive session uses original objects, activities and role play to explore how Stone Age people lived interdependently with their environment, using materials available to them and adapting over time. Pupils engage in a variety of hands on activities including a mini dig, handling archaeological specimens and an exploration of a replica Mesolithic hut. Sessions last for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The NI Curriculum areas of learning are: The World around Us, Language and literacy.

The Skills and Communications used include: Thinking Skills & Personal Capabilities, Communication, Reading, Writing & Team work.
