29 April 2021
Emma-Jayne worked with North Down Museum it make their collections accessible to preschoolers during the museum closure due to the pandemic. This invovled the creation of a video , workshop supported by a loan box and also activity resources for families which are available on the North Down Museum website. All of which used fun and creative ways to engage under 5s, their families and carers with the collections of the museum virtually. The workshop was undertaken as an outreach session by a local Bangor day care setting involving 24 children aged 2-4 years old. All content was designed to support early childhood development.
Emma-Jayne also coordinated the soicla media side of the Playful Museums Festival #NIPlayfulMuseums and collaborated with the local musuems taking part in the virtual Festival.
