The Playful Museums Festival is bringing storytelling, arts, music and other multi-sensory activities to the under 5s this February. Think young uns and yoga at the Tower Museum, castle building at Carrickfergus Museum, or a total toddler takeover at the North Down Museum.

The highlight of the Festival this year is ‘Baby Daddy, a unique theatre production catered to babies from 6-18 months, produced by Replay Theatre Company. Involving three beardy men, music and play in an intimate space, let the fun times roll. As one parent comments:
"Beautiful, enchanting, from start to finish. My son was enthralled… "
The Playful Museums Festival is run in museums across Northern Ireland and is in its fourth year It’s a great opportunity for families to connect and engage the little ones in memorable experiences. The events are designed to aid in your child’s development, communication skills, creativity and social development in a fun way.

The Playful Museums Festival is co-ordinated by the Northern Ireland Museums Council. The tour of Baby Daddy to local museums has been generously supported by the National Lottery Community Fund.
