The Great War 1917: Messines & Passchendaele - Local Stories image

This panel based exhibition tells the story of soldiers, from the Mid and East Antrim area, involved in some of the major British offensives during 1917 including The Battle of Messines and The Third Battle of Ypres (Passchendaele). It was during these prominent battles that the 16th (Irish) and 36th (Ulster) Divisions fought and died together. This exhibition will be on display in the museum atrium.
