Life on the Canal at Moneypenny's Lockhouse

Key Stage Two Craigavon Museum

Lasting for two hours and consisting of a tour and hands on activities. On completion of this programme students will be able to: Explain why the canals were important in Victorian times and describe what everyday life was like in a Victorian lock-keepers cottage.

The N.I Curriculum areas of learning are: The World Around Us and Maths and Numeracy.

The Skills and Capabilities used include thinking and communication.
