Immerse yourself in the fascinating and surprising history of mid-Antrim. As soon as you enter the Museum's fourteen metre high atrium, you'll begin to see mid-Antrim in a whole new light! The entrance contains special installations designed to open your eyes to the links between people and place, local history and local identity.

Once inside the History Gallery, you will discover the story of mid-Antrim from earliest times to the present day through interactive displays and collections of amazing artefacts of local and national significance. Of course, there is an unmissable range of changing exhibitions too. Designed to world-class standards, the Museum's content and storylines will fascinate local residents and visitors alike.

The Museum features a varied range of events and exhibitions throughout the year. We also offer learning opportunities for people of all ages.

The Museum also holds a mixed social history collection, primarily based on the 19th and 20th centuries, reflecting the rich history of the Borough and includes industrial, commercial and rural life artefacts.
